Nicole Gaouette

Nicole Gaouette is Communications Director at the Center, where she leads communications strategy and editorial development across the Center's work on technology and democracy, global labor and supply chains, values-based investing, and business education. Nicole brings more than 25 years of experience as a journalist and strategic communicator, including two decades reporting from more than 70 countries across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, Latin America, and North America. Before joining CBHR, she was Vice President for External Relations at the Wilson Center, where she led the institution's communications, audiovisual, and media strategy. She spent six years at CNN as a National Security Reporter and Editor covering U.S. foreign policy. She has covered the State Department for Bloomberg News; immigration and homeland security for the Los Angeles Times; Asia and the Middle East as a foreign correspondent for the Christian Science Monitor; and Asian financial markets as an editor at Knight Ridder Financial News' Tokyo bureau.
