NYU Stern Center for Business and Human Rights Statement on Apple’s Open Letter on Privacy

NEW YORK – Following the release of an open letter from Apple CEO Tim Cook to the company¹s customers explaining its privacy policies and how the company uses user data, Katharine Kendrick Policy Associate for the Center for Business and Human Rights at the New York University Stern School of Business made the following statement:

“We applaud Apple’s openness about its commitment to protecting its customers’ personal information. Smart companies are realizing that protecting privacy is increasingly a competitive advantage in business.”
